Valentine’s Day Redux

Are you prepared for yet another side of me, from a different medium?

A few weeks ago a reader approached me and asked if I would like to be part of her new project.  I like new adventures, so my answer was yes.  With her help and that of a friend or two of mine, we put together  a vaudiotext of the story Valentine’s Day.  The result is that a piece of The Diary of the Vixen Divorcee is now on YouTube.

  1. Georgia,

What can one say. Wonderful!! I enjoyed the whole production and loved the music at the end. I had always thought the well written word could not be trumped by technology. Now I wonder?. I would love to hear more!!

    • Hi Big Fan: Thanks for the kind words, especially since the sound of my own voice always makes me cringe.

  2. There are so many aspects of the spoken word which printed text can’t convey – tones, colors, moods – and to hear the author’s voice is very special…keep doing both the blog and the videos and let’s see who comes…

  3. I am always currious…always have questions…today’s question…why the heck are you two divorced. You sound hopelessly in love with each other? (I will ask more questions late…be forewarned.)

    • Hi Currious: Tough question, that one. I’ve been braced for it to show up some day. And, maybe someday I’ll attempt an answer. Just not today.

  4. Pretty neato idea. Legally blind folks would embrace it, and you could have lots of fun with it. I’m surprised no one has yet asked you – who played Alan’s voice?

    • Hi Boy Toy: Everyone’s identity in the world of The Diary of the Vixen Divorcee is private. So, I”m not telling. The gentleman in question is more than welcome to divulge who he is, if he chooses to do so.
